At New London we see consider the greater environmental picture and know the commercial print industry offers a unique opportunity to help protect our planet for future generations.

New London’s efforts to reduce our carbon footprint include these recycling initiatives:

  • Re-using washable cloths for press wipe downs instead of disposable towels.
  • Collecting paper, plastic and metal disposables into special with the use of recycling collection bins.
  • Sending all recyclable waste to recycling centers.
  • Distributing all used solvents to a network of machine shops for reuse.

  • We encourage businesses to consider utilizing recycled paper stock for their printed deliverables. New London collaborates with to discourage dependence on direct mail campaigns and offer alternative solutions.
  • New London produces highly targeted messages (and higher response rates) with less paper and a reduced carbon footprint. With variable data printing our clients can produce less fewer mail campaigns while increasing their marketing ROI!
  • The New London Materials Substitution program includes replacing our 100% petroleum-based inks with Soy Inks – without sacrificing print quality. We have reduced our annual production of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) by over 20%!

Meet the Team

Eric Rountree, CEO

Eric Rountree’s first experience in the marketing communications industry came in 1992 working for Harris Graphics while attending Georgia State University. After gaining experience in all phases of production, Eric developed a great affinity for the business. He subsequently dedicated himself to master every phase of the industry.

Eric joined New London Communications in 2000 as an equity partner and assumed the position of Vice President of Operations. Within the first two years of Eric’s management, New London was recognized as the fourth fastest growing company in its respective industry. Through years of measured success, Eric was promoted to COO.

In late 2013, Eric was made Chief Executive Officer by the board of directors. On March 25, 2016, Eric purchased New London from private equity. With goals of growth and prosperity for all in mind, Eric continues to deliver today providing the foundation and pillars for the company to transform itself into the Integrated Marketing Company of the future.

Eric has a wife and two daughters and enjoys coaching them in softball. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys most all things outdoors.

Lori Cooper, VP of Finance & HR

Lori Cooper is the VP of Finance & HR here at New London. Lori began her career with New London in July of 2013. Lori has 28 years of professional accounting experience and her focus here is highly concentrated in investor relations, cash forecasting, budget modeling, external audits, and financial reporting. In addition to Lori’s financial responsibilities, she manages our payroll, HR, and employee benefits programs.

Prior to joining New London, Lori worked with numerous software-industry related firms. Lori spent six years as VP of Accounting & HR at Reflex Systems. At Reflex Systems, Lori was responsible for accounting, human resources, and investor relations. Preceding Reflex Systems, Lori spent 3 years leading the accounting team at Ciphertrust, Inc. and was responsible for coordinating all external audits while maintaining timely month-end financial reporting. Prior to Ciphertrust, Lori worked 5 years as International Accounting Manager at MAPICS, Inc . with a concentrated focus on international accounting, internal ERP reporting, and consolidating financials for multiple locations around the world.

Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elon University in North Carolina.

When Lori is not at New London she enjoys playing tennis and golf. She is a BIG FAN of all sports! On Fall Sunday’s, you can find Lori cheering on her favorite hometown team, the Baltimore Ravens.

Donnie Halcomb, Operations Manager

Donnie Halcomb has been a valued member of the New London team for the past 15 years. He loves the New London collaborative spirit, where everyone pitches-in as needed to help to get the job done!

Donnie has developed strong relationships with clients and co-workers. He really enjoys estimating projects and watching them develop from concept to completion – the jobs come to life through the production process.

On the weekends he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, watching a good movie and participating in fun, local activities.

Donnie is a member of a local church, which provides meals to homeless families on Friday nights. On occasion, Donnie might need to leave early to support that cause. “It really is a very humbling experience to see how appreciative people are just to receive a good hot meal. It makes you very thankful for all that you have.”

Tyler Cope, Plant Manager

Tyler Cope is the Production Manager at New London. After beginning his career in 2014, Tyler quickly climbed the industry ladder as he moved from finishing to running a Digital Press and Wide Format operation, then transitioned to sales and account management. This gave him the experience needed to not only deliver a satisfactory product, but also to clearly explain to customers and employees what questions to ask when it comes to achieving high production quality.

Since he began his journey over a decade ago, Tyler has become a strong voice in the industry with a drive to help where help is needed, mentor new employees, and foster industry knowledge to a younger generation through community outreach projects.
